So, what do you want to know?

Well, let's see. I'm a writer, I've published two non-fiction books so far, and just finished the first draft of a third. The first was a journal I wrote in Paris illustrated by my black and white photography, and the second a series of essays on my my favourite horror movies. The current work in progress is a semi-autobiographical account of the rock scene in Nottingham in the late eighties and early nineties, in all its' long haired, tight trousered glory.

I'm also a photographer, and particularly love shooting buildings, landscapes and people, and then mostly in black and white. I have a collective website with my partner Deborah Lander - check us out at www.lifebehindglass.co.uk

I'm also a musician. I play bass and keyboards, and scrape by on rhythm guitar, and have written original music for a movie that hits DVD this summer. I used to be heavily involved in the bootleg/mashup scene, and had my creations played in clubs all over the world, but now I'm happy to let the new blood in that scene have their fifteen minutes and enjoy their work.

Finally I'm a huge fan of movies and music. I have a particularly love of horror movies, but anything good gets my vote, and I worship the musical ground that Trent Reznor, Gary Numan and Adam Duritz walk on, but again, my musical tastes run far and wide, just don't give me any of that Pop Stars or X-Factor shite please. Thanks.
